This music was compiled over two recordings sessions on 8/28/20 and 9/9/20. Scott presented me with the idea of recording some improvisations in his backyard in Ojai, an area known for its beautiful nature and abundance of wildlife, mixing my playing with the sounds of the surrounding area. This new environment created a very unique zone to inspire improvisation, leading to some exploratory pieces untethered from the desire for perfection.
